End Of Upward Bound

Blogging was something new, since I have never done it before. In the beginning I didn't think I was going to like it, but I did. It was a fun experience letting my thoughts out in writing, and allowing others to read them. I liked many things from blogging, like being able to post a link from a website about what I'm talking about in my blog, or just posting a silly picture. I guess the one thing I do hate is that once the blog is published, it can't be deleted.

I plan to have fun and enjoy the rest of my summer. I goal is to not be home for more than a few hours a day, and spend it outside, or somewhere with friends and family. After Ubward Bound I'm planning on going to open gym for volleyball, so I can practice, then I have to go to try-outs. Around the August 6th I'm leaving to New Jersey and New York to visit family and friends and just have fun shopping. I'm going to visit the statue of Liberty and many other cool places. Before school starts I'm planning on doing some community service and volunteering, to do something, and help others that need it.

Second to last post

I love Hershey's milk chocolate with almonds, they are my favorite, specially because they have almonds. Chocolate is my favorite candy, but I don't like just any chocolate. It has to be Hershey's otherwise I might not eat it. I like the feeling of biting through a piece of chocolate, which then starts melting in my mouth.

Worst Weekend Ever!

I had paid and scheduled to take my road test Sunday, but everything went wrong. The car I was suppose to use decided to lock the drivers side door on Friday night. Saturday night I decided to get my aunts car, but I didn't know what to expect since she is really disorganize. Sunday morning I double check the documents to find out we were missing the car's registration. So I showed up to take my test anyway, the guy says I cant take it, and have to pay $30 more dollars to reschedule. I spent the whole week looking forward to that Sunday, the Sunday I would get my license, but it turned out not to be that way.

Painful

Im tired, sore, with tense muscles and a few scrapes. This week my activity was kickball. I injured my knee somehow when I was running the bases, since I'm a sprinter for the track team, I have many problems on my legs. The most difficult thing for me was going up and down the stairs. I also played flag football this week, which was fun, but painful. I had the ball, running to score a touch down when all of the sudden I feel like someone tripped me, and I fall superman style on the turf.
My bad knee and side of my stomach were burned by the turf. It was so painful. Then to take a shower it felt like someone was rubbing alcohol on my scrapes, it was horrible.

Mr.Brandsen

Mr. Brandsen is the coolest math teacher ever. I know him since my freshman year, he was my Ubward Bound teacher. He lives for math, that's probably all he thinks about. He even mentioned naming one of his kids isoceles, after the triangle, I'm still hoping that's a joke. Recently he found out about his wife having cancer, tragic news for all of us. Because we all care for him, we don't want to see him sad. I like the way he can still smile from ear to ear, and act normal around us. I hope he stays strong because we all hope for the best.

Holiday

I got up early today today, so I can study a little. I feel so tired, I just want this week to be over. Holiday weekend is almost here, I cant wait to a go home, 4th of July is this Sunday! My family and I will be going to the lake, and have a BBQ. At night I'll be heading downtown to a friend's house, since he is going to have his own show of fireworks. I'm sitting here facing my screen, thinking about all the possible things I can do for the weekend. Its a long weekend, so I don't have to go back to class until Tuesday morning. I want to be able to enjoy my weekend and not let anything get in the way of it. I might just end up going to the movies to watch the new twilight movie, "Eclipse" with some friends. That sounds fun.

LIFE

There is a time in life where things just doesn't seem to matter. Where things and ideas you believed in became worthless words. Where pushing yourself forward is all you can do; trusting or depending on someone just slows you down.
Enjoy life because you only get one chance, one opportunity. The mistakes you do leave them behind, but be wise and learn from them. Stop wasting time in people who don't appreciate you for who you are.
There is a time in life where things just doesn't seem to matter, but there are things to appreciate in life.
